In this workshop we will provide you with guidance to help your child master multiplication using a CPA (concrete, pictorial, abstract) approach to math.  This approach makes math attainable to all learners and lines up with the content standards.  In this session, we will show you lessons to introduce multiplication, demonstrate multiplicative properties (commutative, associative, and distributive), and the connection to area.  All lessons will have modeling with manipulatives, representational drawings , and the final connection to the abstract form.
